Vertical ribbed backsplash around sinks

The project in pictures
Vertical texture behind the counter
Closely spaced raised ribs run vertically across the pale backsplash. Horizontal joints divide the surface into courses, and the ribbed texture continues above and below the shelves. Light and shadow make the raised profile visible from different angles.
Shelves and cabinet edges
