Bathrooms · Before & after

Skylight bathroom with an illuminated shower niche

A skylight brings daylight into this bathroom above a dark wood-tone double vanity and a glass-enclosed shower. The project photographs show more than the later room: exposed framing, prepared surfaces, floor tile and shower tile setting are all recorded.

From exposed framing to tiled surfaces

The early photographs show open wall framing and the stripped room near the window. Subsequent views show the empty vanity wall, prepared shower surfaces and gray rectangular floor tile in place. A closer progress view records the veined wall tiles during setting, with temporary spacing and levelling pieces visible. These views follow the change from an open work area to the tiled surfaces seen beside the later vanity and glass enclosure.

Veined wall tile and a horizontal recess

Broad rectangular pieces form the shower walls, with gray veining crossing the pale tile faces. The horizontal grout joints and long niche create strong lines across the enclosure. Light along the niche’s upper edge draws attention to its tiled returns and shelf, while clear glass keeps the recess visible from the vanity area.

Floor layout, glass and warm-metal details

Gray rectangular floor tiles run through the room beside the darker vanity. Their quieter surface contrasts with the more pronounced veining on the shower walls. Gold-tone fittings and narrow metal edges add a warmer accent; the later views also show the double basin, illuminated mirror and adjoining open storage. The walkthrough videos connect these details spatially, showing how the vanity, glass and shower relate to one another.
