The project in pictures
Preparation before the wall tile
The earlier photograph shows exposed board surfaces and fixture openings around the shower, with a recessed niche already formed. The progress view records the slim rectangular floor tiles, square drain opening and tiled threshold while wall preparation remains visible. These stages lead into the later photographs of the wall tile, fittings and tiled entrance.
A wall grid and a finer floor mosaic
Larger rectangular wall tiles form a simple grid around the shower and continue across its sloped ceiling. Slim rectangular mosaic pieces cover the shower floor and continue across the threshold, contrasting with the broader wall-tile grid. The close views make the grout lines, floor edge and drain position easier to compare.
A dark outline at the niche and fittings
The horizontal niche has a dark outline that echoes the black showerhead, handheld spray and controls. A dark outline frames the shower entrance, where a wood-tone floor meets the tiled threshold. For a similar shower, plan the niche height, wall-tile joints and threshold finish together rather than choosing each detail separately.
