Veined shower tile beneath a high window
Pale veined tile wraps a glass-enclosed shower beneath a high horizontal window. Black fixtures and door hardware contrast with the light tile, while the earlier photographs record the stripped room and floor preparation.

The project in pictures
The earlier room and preparation
The first photographs show the bathroom stripped back, with exposed framing and floor areas. Later preparation views precede the tiled surfaces and glass enclosure. These images document visible stages of the room’s change; the material choices can be followed in the later wall, floor and fixture views.
Tile around the high window
Broad rectangular wall tiles carry gray veining around the shower, interrupted by straight grout joints and the horizontal window opening. Close-up views show the tile cuts and edges around that opening. For a similar layout, consider the window returns, corner joints and fixture positions together when planning where the tile courses will land.
Black fittings against pale tile
A square overhead showerhead, handheld spray and dark control fittings stand out against the light wall tile. Black glass-door hardware repeats that contrast at the shower entrance. A dark hexagonal shower mosaic contrasts with the larger pale rectangular room-floor tiles. The wider photographs connect these details with the tiled threshold; protective tape still visible on hardware identifies an installation-stage view.
