Vertical tile and subtle shade changes

Narrow rectangular tiles run vertically across the pale face, with small shifts between white and cream tones. Reflections emphasize the glossy surface and make the grout joints visible. The close photograph lets you compare the tile orientation and shade variation separately from the furnishings around the feature.

Tile around two dark openings

The black fireplace opening sits below a larger recessed television area. Pale tile forms the borders between and around these openings, giving their dark rectangular shapes a consistent surround. For a similar layout, consider the tile cuts along the opening edges and the proportions of the tiled bands before choosing a tile size.

The outside corner and room view

An angled photograph shows the tile continuing around the projecting outside corner onto the side face. The wider view places the feature within the furnished room, while the closer views record its joint pattern and tiled edges. Together, the three angles show how the tile pattern wraps the projecting face.
