From bathtub surround to tiled shower

The before photograph shows a white bathtub surround beside a dark vanity and pale floor. The later view shows a glass-enclosed shower at the far end of the room, with veined tile extending onto the bathroom floor. Comparing these doorway views makes the change in surfaces and the shower entrance easy to follow.

Large tile faces and strong veining

Broad rectangular wall tiles carry gray, white and warm-toned veining across the enclosure. Straight grout joints divide the large tile faces, while the gold-tone glass rail, handles and shower fittings provide a contrasting edge. The close-up photographs show how the tile pattern meets inside corners and the recessed storage area.

Niche shelves and a mosaic floor

The tall niche has three compartments, with narrow metal borders framing the shelf edges and tiled returns. Smaller hexagonal mosaic pieces cover the shower floor beside the larger rectangular tiles outside the enclosure. For a similar shower, compare the wall pattern, mosaic scale, niche proportions and glass hardware together before choosing the final tile layout.
